AT&T'S YELLOWPAGES.COM "NEED SOMETHING?" CAMPAIGN WINS GOLD

AUSTIN, TX., | Wednesday, May 02, 2007

The successful "Need something?" advertising campaign for YELLOWPAGES.COM (www.yellowpages.com), a subsidiary of AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T), was honored in April by the American Advertising Federation (AAF) with two gold regional ADDY® awards.

The two gold ADDYs were awarded for a spot called "House Cleaning" and for the overall "Need Something" TV campaign and follow recent recognition for excellence in advertising and marketing from the Yellow Pages Publishers Association.

Gold and silver ADDY winners will advance to compete in the national ADDY Awards in May and winners will be announced at the American Advertising Federation national conference in Louisville, June 7-9. According to AAF, the ADDY Awards represent the true spirit of creative excellence and recognize all forms of advertising from anywhere in the world.

Developed by GSD&M, the "Need something?" campaign has increased brand awareness and positioned YELLOWPAGES.COM as the place to go online for local information since its launch in 2006. By using situational comedy in each ad, a humorous set-up shows someone conducting a task in an offbeat, unexpected way-such as jogging up an office building escalator for exercise. The phrase "Need something?" appears and positions a search on YELLOWPAGES.COM as the solution.

"This campaign has driven great business results," said Matt Crowley, chief marketing officer for YELLOWPAGES.COM, "and we're pleased to see the campaign recognized by the advertising industry for its outstanding creativity."
